v2.2.1 release failed

The recent v2.2.1 patch release failed during the 'Release to GitHub' step:

The formatting is hard to distinguish, and I think a lot of the warnings are as a result of incorrect comments here: https://github.com/ansys/actions/blob/b8f5cff4675b077bf71ea9af42c1801b3bffd4c9/release-github/action.yml#L365

The actual error seems to be Parameter token or opts.auth is required. I'm not sure why this has started throwing now, since there's a warning that states this will be required for v9. I suggest we try adding this token though, cheery pick onto the 2.2 release branch, and then try the release again
