Fluent container for 24R2 and 25R1 are missing CAD readers (PMDB)

Some issue is happening on the following containers:

The 24R2 version and the 25R1 version do not contain CAD readers (PMDB files)

@raph-luc is this expected?

We had to simplify the geometry-mesh-fluent workflow to only run 24R1

Hmm, no, I think that was possibly a mistake introduced in the recent service pack updates to those containers. Will investigate, thanks

I'm sure that the 25R1 container doesn't have the reader. Also, the 24R2 container, is massive (like 100Gb massive).

Both these issues should be fixed in latest 25.1.4 and 24.2.5 images. Can you please check and let me know if any issues are still seen?

I can confirm the uncompressed size of the rebuilt v242 image is down from 76.4 GB to 18.2 GB, thanks @ansbwidmann and thanks for the heads-up about this @RobPasMue

With the massive image this was possible. I think we are missing dependencies inside the image now

Any reason those tests are using python 3.12? We are on 3.10.

Nope, none (except for the fact that the newer the version the better). Let me move to 3.10 if that's preferrable.

@ansbwidmann @RobPasMue Python 3.12 should be fine, that is the one executing in the client "PyFluent" environment (not inside the server container). PyFluent supports Python 3.12 (and 3.13 as I recall)

This one seems to be missing the CAD import files now? Relevant part of the error:
sh: /ansys_inc/v251/commonfiles/CPython/3_10/linx64/Release/Ansys/TGrid/runCADReaders.csh: No such file or directory
Or wrong location/missing some env var?

Might need AWP_ROOT251 if not defined already?

EDIT: I just recalled I've seen this error before, and it was because I was missing /bin/tcsh in the machine. After installing that, the issue was resolved. Maybe we need to install that in the container?
