copying vms from one zone to another

i was trying to copy the vms from one zone to another by creating a template of that vm disk and then copy that template to the another zone but the copy thing showed success but in ui the template is not showing in zone 2

and the zone section of that template is also showing only one zone (zone-1)

do you guys know any other ways in which i can copy the vms from one zone to another?
