SOAP/XML RPC Request : Test element is obsolete error

All the SOAP/XML -RPC tests shows: test element is obsolete. Cannot run the test elements previously written. I would like to access this test elements and would like to know if there is any transition for this deprecation provided.

Version 2.11 is 8 version away.
We have documented here how to migrate when it was first deprecated then removed:

The idea is to use regular HTTP Request.
As a solution you could use in jmeter 2.11 a JMeter 5.0 as proxy so that it records the request.
