Something is wrong with task ordering here for:

gradlew clean check

This looks weird:

...
> Task :lucene:classification:compileTestJava

> Task :lucene:classification:clean

Run them separately for the time being: gradlew clean && gradlew ...

I know what the reason is but I don't know the cause.

I don't know if it helps, but if you pass "-verbose" to ecj compiler, it prints every .class file when it reads it, prints every .java file that it processes, etc.

Yeah, I know what the problem is. It's not trivial - have to think about how to solve it. For the time being, please don't use 'clean xxxx' together. I'll try to fix asap - this is an annoying bug in the build system.
