Technically the page the JavaME plugins are from says they're for NetBeans 8.1, but seeing as there's no official download for versions before 9.0, I'd like to find a way to use them in current version. |

Apache NetBeans version
Apache NetBeans 30
What happened
I'm trying to install some admittedly old plugins into the current version of NetBeans, and they appear to install just fine. But for some reason, they don't show up in Available Plugins or even Downloaded, even after restarting the program. Instead, they're all still in the "Downloaded" tab, as if they weren't actually installed.
I'm not sure if there's a log file somewhere that shows what happened, but I'd really appreciate any help on this. Whether it be fixing an actual bug, or helping me not be dumb about using it (if I missed something).
I haven't tried installing these plugins on any older versions.

How to reproduce
Download the plugins I'm trying to install:
org-desktop-layout-RELEASE65.nbmin thePlugin para org.layout/folder)Oracle Java ME SDK 8.3 Plugins for NetBeans 8.1)Put all of the plugins into one folder
Attempt to install the plugins. When it gives an error saying that it's missing the file
unpack200, select the replacementjpack(I think that's what it was called). It will say it installed successfully, listing all of the plugins in the popup as Installed.
Restart NetBeans
Now the plugins are back in the Downloaded tab of the Plugins manager, and nowhere else.
Did this work correctly in an earlier version?
No / Don't know
