This PR:

  • Fixes the apex new and apex init commands.
  • Adds functionality to pull from git repositories (with support for sub-directory paths and branches)
  • Adds tests for template generation & variable resolution.
  • Adds GH workflow to run tests.

LGTM. We will iterate in the TS-driven templates in a future PR.
