Fix flickering on Chrome - Angular and Three.JS

There is an annoying flickering on Chrome, see video
Video Demo of Bug

To replicate then checkout master branch, following README and ng serve.
Sample URL will be available i.e. http://localhost:4200/view/medical-student/1?q=How%20does%20temperature%20and%20humidity%20affect%20the%20transmission%20of%202019-nCoV%3F
I run it under node v16.15.0 installed under nvm, Firefox works fine.
Definition of done:
The ask is to fix flickering on Chrome, while another functionality should be retained - clicking on nodes brings one popup, clicking on edges another.
