Opening Settings page breaks atom when minimap is in use

step to reproduce:

open a new file (or load any file)
edit it
open the settings page
try to close the file you edited
choose don't save from the osx dialog.
Boom. the File stays open, atom focus moves to settings tab, it open the developer console where you can find this error:
Uncaught TypeError: Object #<SettingsView> has no method 'getText' .
