Superseded. This version is deprecated. Upgrade to Aura3D 4.7.7.

A CLI feature release. @aura3d/cli gains a browser pass for check-deploy; the engine and the other packages carry no runtime change from 4.3.6 (their version, README and doc-path updates only).

  • aura3d check-deploy --browser loads the built site in a headless browser (cli). It serves dist from a local static server with no SPA fallback, opens each route (/ by default; repeat --route /play/), and fails on a 4xx/5xx response, a request that did not complete, an uncaught exception, a console error, or a data-aura3d-error boot error on <body>. A missing favicon is a warning only. Playwright is resolved from the project being checked (npm i -D playwright), so projects without it keep the static check. --browser-timeout and --browser-settle tune the wait. Tested against real Chromium (clean site, broken site, boot error, multi-route, CLI exit codes).
  • The four retired V2 game builds are deleted from the repository (site). /apps/showcase-{roadster-rush,heatsink,teleoperator,top-tennis}-v2/ keep answering with a permanent redirect to the current game; the folders, the V2-only camera spec and the V2 entries in the smoke tests and stage scripts are gone.
  • The troubleshooting guide no longer names versions that cannot be installed (docs). The build-error, plane-subdivision, shader-failure and context-loss entries describe current behaviour only.
  • Measured comparison and agent-trial records are added under evidence/ (not shipped). A complete game written twice (271 authored lines on Aura3D against 373 on plain three.js, one author, one small game, software WebGL2) and a cold-start trial of fresh agents on the same task. They stay internal; the site and READMEs make no agent-speed claim.
