.fail() no longer messages console.  Please add config to bring this functionality back.

My old project has a ton of tests that all use t.fail() as a way to log what the error is.  GPT says AVA disabled this logging.  I would like to re-enable it.  How can I do this?

I do not wish to change my test files, they were working fine.
