Terminal Test Suite

I should create a test application in Python which exercises the terminal emulator. Some of this can be fully automated, and some may require human interaction. Things like the following are a simple start:

However, more complex things should be tested as well. Maybe running a curses application would be a good test. Perhaps the Linux kernel make menuconfig could be a start.
