The documentation does not clearly state that we need to pass the access key and secret key in this format. It took a lot of developer time to figure it out using the CLI.

let client = new ElasticLoadBalancingV2Client({
  region: config.region,
  credentials: {
    accessKeyId: config.accessKey,
    secretAccessKey: config.secretKey,
  },
});

if possible update the doc or add some snippet to it for more clarity.

Hey @Piyusha-01 ,

It is recommended to setup aws_access_key_id and aws_secret_access_key in shared AWS credentials file setting .

There's a lot of ways to configure the credentials, please refer to this doc - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sdkref/latest/guide/feature-static-credentials.html

What you've posted is one way to setup the credentials and it's not the recommended way. But I will talk to the team to see if there's anyway that we can mention the credential setup options in API docs.
