Record Versioning for Timestream

For the same measure name and dimension; the record with larger version value is kept in Timestream. But, timestream.write does not have version argument so it is not possible to update existing record in database with new one using awswrangler.

Is it possible add version argument in timestream.write operation ? I have streaming data updated retrospectively so versioning is necessary.
