I see a blank string in the Publish to AWS experience

When I select the new "Publish to AWS..." menu to deploy my project. I see an empty screen.

This can happen when your Toolkit's current credentials-region selection is not valid at the time you open the publish screen. To get additional details, open the Output window (from the View menu, select Output), and select the "Amazon Web Services" output. It might look like the image below.

At this time, the screen does not have a way for you to see if your current credentials are valid, and the screen does not have a way for you to change your current credentials-region settings.

We are exploring ways to show you in the Publish pane which credentials are currently being used, how you can change them, and clearly indicate if they are not valid for use.

Improvements were made around credentials selection in Publish to AWS since the time this issue was filed. In v1.27.0.0 (2022-03-23), it became possible to change credentials and region from within the Publish to AWS experience.
