• lines_process no longer drops the input's trailing newline, and now reports trailing_newline and eol_in, naming the LF normalisation when the input used CRLF or CR.
• url_encode refuses an unpaired UTF-16 surrogate with a MalformedTextError naming the code unit and its index, instead of a bare URIError: URI malformed.
• Added seeded property tests (differential JSON-scanner fuzzing against JSON.parse, plus round-trip properties for base64/hex/percent-encoding/CSV/number bases/timestamps/line ops); 35 tests total.
• prepublishOnly gate; README now states exactly what has and has not been verified.
