Is the rofi integration finished?

I've installed and started working on it to discover that there are no instructions in the docs, and what there is is in #5 . Which the ticket is closed with no specific comment about the integration being finished, proposing the rofi execution and the required script, but which in turn requires another library (shepi).

So I'm confused on what is the status of this functionality.
