Session issue between iPhone and laptop #1842

Thanks for the report, @pangeli. We were actually just discussing this issue on the team last night, funnily enough. The reason this happens is that updating the email address for an account actually moves that account to a new login, associated with the new email address. If you have multiple Fizzy accounts, and want to use different email addresses for some of them, that might actually be what you wanted. But in a lot of cases, like this one, it's really not what you wanted, and in fact it's just confusing. So I think we'll rethink this a bit. Probably updating your email address should do just that, and moving an account between logins should be a different action. We'll take a look though, and come up with a better approach. |

Thanks for the update. Here’s how I solved it without clearing my browser data:

I created a Fizzy account on my iPhone using my email address. Shortly after, I logged in on my laptop and updated my email address. Now when I return to my phone and try to use Fizzy, it says I don’t have an account and forces me to register.
I tried using the QR code from my laptop and the direct session URL, but I still get the same screen.
If I try in an incognito window on my phone, it works. Clearing my browser history/data would likely solve the issue, but there are times when you don’t want to do that.
