The errors indicate you're in a read-only state. Did you happen to boot a snapshot instead of the actual OS entry? |

@ryanrhughes, when I boot Omarchy, the filesystem starts in normal state: I can create folders and files, but after executing I used balenaEtcher with 8Gb USB stick and Omarchy 3.1.1 ISO to create boot-installer. I then installed it onto another (new and fully verified with Seagate Seatools) 256Gb USB stick. Pressing F12 to invoke laptop boot menu, there seems to be several boot options added by Omarchy. I'm choosing the only one with "omarchy" in it's name. I didn't create snapshot or do anything custom, no configs were changed. |

System details
AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics, RTX 3080 laptop, Fresh Omarchy 3.1.1 on 256 Gb USB stick
What's wrong?
I just installed from scratch newly downloaded Omarchy 3.1.1 from ISO. After getting familiar with shorcuts for a while and connecting to the internet, I ran Omarchy update via the menu - it was the first change I did, system was completely fresh. It errored. I don't have original error messages, but after re-running "omarchy-update" from terminal, I get similar errors as seen on the left part of the image (sorry for a photo, but I couldn't launch a browser and the disk is encrypted, so no way to get out any info from the system).
Things that broke:
Most shortcuts (window navigation, movement, closure) still work and some apps (file manager, terminal) still open with their corresponding shortcuts.
Some people mentioned to kill process "walker", but it seems to be restarting on its own given its auto-changing ids (right part of attached photo).
I don't have any data to save, so I may do a full re-install. I may run any diagnostics, which might help to troubleshoot the issue.
