Currently, Batear primarily runs on the Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V3 platform. While this is great for prototyping, I know many of you are already deploying these in the field with custom modifications.
I am currently designing a dedicated All-in-One (AIO) PCB for Batear (integrating the ESP32-S3, LoRa, and Digital Mic) to improve stability and signal quality for drone detection. To make the new hardware as practical as possible, I’d love to see how you are currently housing your sensors.

• Acoustic Design: How did you mount the I2S microphone (INMP441/ICS43434) and handle waterproofing?

🌧️ Outdoor Waterproof Testing

Took batear out into the rain today ☔
Running the wired edition in a real-world wet environment to see if the enclosure actually holds up.

What we're checking:
• Sustained rainfall + spray simulation
• Seams, screw holes, mic port for ingress
• FFT detection stability while powered
