🐛 [BUG]: Node extent broken on child nodes #505

Is there an existing issue for this?
- I have searched the existing issues and this is a new bug.
Current Behavior
Child nodes do not properly calculate node extent when contained within a parent node.
Expected Behavior
Children should be movable freely inside a parent node.
