Release list
0.1.29
No download needed, updates on next launch
Exercise Blob put/get use access public by default so seeding works with
the public tinker-exercises store. Optional BLOB_ACCESS=private for a
private store. Hosted web and API only; Electron shell unchanged.
0.1.28
No download needed, updates on next launch
Production builds seed exercise files into Vercel Blob when
BLOB_READ_WRITE_TOKEN is set (VERCEL_ENV=production). Uploads are
idempotent: only missing or changed files are written. Formation and
retired curriculum stay refused. If Blob is unreachable the build
continues with a warning and exercises keep the local seed fallback.
Hosted web and API only; Electron shell unchanged.

Polished /repo and /inflight to design-system controls: SVG close and
chevron back affordances, secondary buttons use --radius-button and
--shadow-button, focus states use --focus-ring, panels stay flat (no
elevation shadow), and product-layer motion is removed from the writing
foot, labs drawer, and in-flight rows. Playwright visual regression
locks desktop 1440x900 and iPhone 390x844 harness screens in CI.
Hosted web and API only; Electron shell unchanged.
Connections lets you link Notion (and later other MCP servers) so Claude
can search and fetch while you write. Tokens stay encrypted server-side;
write tools need an explicit confirm in the UI. Hosted web and API only;
Electron shell unchanged. Separate from MCP access (bots calling Tinker).

Exercises use Vercel Blob as Tinker's source of truth when
BLOB_READ_WRITE_TOKEN is set (checked-in seed is the fallback). Mobile
PWA opens an in-flight agents view first when Cursor cloud agents titled
Tinker:, Learning:, or Site: are active (CURSOR_API_KEY). Exercises
sidebar still presents one learning module with ordered steps. Desktop
lesson steps open as a read-only rendered markdown preview. iPhone PWA
labs header stays below the notch with an opaque bar so the write fade
cannot wash the Exercises label. That's everything no longer fails with
"shape we couldn't use" on Opus 5.5 (adaptive thinking token budget)
and grades Your answer even when the lesson step README is open.
Hosted web and API only; Electron shell unchanged.

That's everything no longer fails with "shape we couldn't use" on Opus 5.5:
adaptive thinking was eating the token budget and truncating the JSON reply.
Also grades Your answer (api.md) even when the lesson step README is open.
Hosted web only; Electron shell unchanged.
0.1.23
No download needed, updates on next launch
Exercises sidebar (desktop and mobile web drawer) presents the current
exercise as one learning module with ordered steps and Your answer, instead
of a file/folder tree. Upcoming modules show as locked placeholders.
Hosted web only; Electron shell unchanged.
0.1.22
No download needed, updates on next launch
That's everything and inline Refactor now request guaranteed structured JSON from Claude Opus (Anthropic json_schema output_format when the model supports it, otherwise a forced tool call). Invalid model JSON retries once, then shows a friendly error. Hosted web/API only; Electron shell unchanged.
0.1.21

Exercise files gain a That's everything button (same primary pill style as
This is everything). Claude Opus 5.5 grades the open answer against the
current step goals with short plain-English feedback, then proposes a
next-step README rewrite as an Accept/Reject diff. Hosted web/API only;
Electron shell unchanged.

Writing UI uses Claude Haiku 4.5; open exercise files get an inline Refactor
flow (select text or a step, ask, Accept or Reject) on Claude Opus 5.5.
Model ids live in one config. Hosted web and API only; the Electron shell
is unchanged.
