[FEATURE] Specifiy the global config location

As a Vim user, I would like to check in the codebook.toml with my vim configuration to sync it on all my devices. As far as I can see, it is only possible to use the global codebook.toml at $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/codebook/codebook.toml. Is there a way to change this?

Hey! No, not currently without redefining XDG_CONFIG_HOME globally. However, this doesn't seem, on the surface, to be a difficult feature to add.

Can I ask you how'd you expect this to work? Where would you like the file to be stored? How would the location get set? I'm mostly familiar with how Zed does LSP configuration and haven't used Vim without the default settings in a while.

Weill, I would like to specify the location somehow. Currently I am storing the config at ~/.vim/codebook.toml and then symlink it to XDG_CONFIG_HOME. Some language servers do this using command-line arguments or pass the config path with the initialization options object. What you prefer here is up to you!

There are many vim lsp client plugins. They all use a JSON obect to configure the servers in the end, but the configuration syntax might be different. vimscript has is its own representation of JSON objects.

This is my codebook config dictionary for yegappan/lsp in vimscript. I could pass command line args here or another entry.

Hey! I just merged a PR with this change in it. Once it's released, I think you'll just need to add:

initializationOptions: {'globalConfigPath': '~/whatever'}

to your config.
