After three reverts. Occasionally I can't decide, i see no reason to get this library ready for androidx. All older projects would have to be upgraded to compile version 28. If you want to use androix you should use android.enableJetifier=true instead. |

I've bumped the target sdk to 28 and migrated gradle dependencies to Androidx
