New

  • Live output while a command runs. A small panel shows the running command, the elapsed time, a real progress bar and the latest output lines. A long DISM /RestoreHealth or sfc /scannow no longer looks frozen. The panel can be hidden; the full output is still kept on the Activity page.
  • The progress percentage comes from the tool's own output and works in any Windows language.

Improved

  • Command output is now read while the command runs instead of only when it ends.
  • More reliable decoding of tool output when WinCare is started from WinCare.exe.

Install

Download WinCare-1.2.0.zip, extract it anywhere and run WinCare.exe (administrator rights are required).
If SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", choose More info > Run anyway - the launcher is not code-signed yet.
