Abstract

CAIC provides avalanche forecast data as well as reports on avalanche observations and incidents.

I decided to build an application using the CAIC as an underlying datasource / api to learn:

  • tool calling
  • report generation
  • Vercel AI SDK

My talk will provide an overview of the features, code, and how I vibe coded it with claude code.
