I think it's related: #289 I created a patch and have already installed the modified version myself. I've done some quick testing, and everything seems to work fine, but I'm not sure how to accurately verify that subagents are picking up the skills. I'll observe the results of the work in the near future and report back. If you're interested, I can write an upgrade command for my version. By the way, I made the patch using the same Claude code. |

I'm hoping @CasJam gets a chance to review this, I've been manually applying some if Perlover's fixes and things seem to be working well too. |

As reported in the review on YT in detail here https://youtu.be/bu-RR2gM6Lw?si=vT2tjni17uMeQI1I
"The sub-agent skills oversight.
This is a detail you need to be aware of.
Claude recently added support for skills in agents.
You simply add a skill property to the agent's definition.
However, Agent OS currently has an oversight during the installation phase.
When the script generates the agent definition files for your project it compiles the standards but forgets to inject that skill property into the generated markdown files.
This means your sub-agents don't know that the skills exist so they don't follow the project standards which are defined as skills. You have to manually add that one line to the agent file yourself.
Given how minimal this edit is, I expect Agent OS will patch this support very soon."
Apologies if this is represented in the bugs already reported. I wasn't able to assess them confidently.
