Updater recovery

• Update downloads now show actual transferred bytes, a percentage and a progress bar.
• Downloads can be cancelled and retried without restarting Discord.
• A download that receives no data for 30 seconds stops with an explanation. Release checks and archive extraction also have time limits.
• Update files stream to a temporary file instead of keeping the complete download in memory. Incomplete downloads are removed and are never installed.
• Future updates use a smaller, verified moggcord-update.zip containing only the desktop code. The complete installer bundle remains available for installation and repair.
• Concurrent update requests share one download. Reopening the updater shows the current download progress.

If an older version is already stuck on “Installing…”, fully close Discord and use the latest installer’s Repair action once to receive this fix. The old updater cannot change its running code while its download is stuck.

• macOS Intel / Apple Silicon: Moggcord-Installer-macOS.dmg (preview, ad hoc signed, not Apple notarized)
• Linux x64: Moggcord-Installer-Linux.AppImage or Moggcord-Installer-Linux.deb (preview; official Discord DEB/TAR installations)

All three installers are built and verified on their target operating systems before publication. Checksums and verification reports are in the technical files.

Technical update files are stored separately. For the updater migration, use the latest installer and choose Repair once.
