How to change the default directory for screenshots and screen recordings?

Hi! I'm trying to figure out how to change the save location for screenshots and screen recordings. I've looked through the config files but can't seem to find where to set a custom path. Any help would be appreciated! 😿

You can't change it from config yet. Change it from utils/Paths.qml. But don't change it directly from the shell files.
Clone your repo to ~/.config/quickshell/caelestia and make changes there.

You can change it by setting the appropriate environment variable. Since that option is already available, there's no need to make it configurable through the shell.

Ah yes, that's true but it'll also make a Recordings subfolder in the directory. They'll need to change it from shell for extensive control.

hello related concern here, when u click the folder icon it goes to thunar and play on mpv (doesnt work for some reason) i wanna change it to dolphin and vlc how can i do that?

They are configurable from the shell.json file. If you don't know what that is, just type nano ~/.config/caelestia/shell.json and paste this

I don't exactly remember the package names so if they are wrong, just change them
