Comment delete bug

Hi! When I delete a comment using the plugin’s sidebar, the app freezes and I can’t edit the text anymore. In Obsidian, I end up having to restart the app.
However, if I delete the comment directly in the note itself, everything works as expected.
I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look and fix this issue.
Aside from that, the plugin is great—I really enjoy using it.

Plugin version 0.5.2.
Obsidian version 1.10.6.

Thanks for the report 🙏 I’d like to clarify a few details to make sure I understand the situation correctly:

1. When you say that deleting the comment directly in the note works as expected, do you mean deleting the highlighted text itself, which then also removes the associated comment? At the moment, the plugin doesn’t provide a separate way to delete comments directly from the note.

2. The freeze happens when you double-click a comment in the sidebar to enter edit mode, and then click the delete button in the bottom-right corner — after which Obsidian becomes unresponsive and requires a restart. Is that correct?

Please let me know if I misunderstood anything. If possible, a short list of steps or a screen recording would be very helpful for reproducing the issue. Thanks again for the detailed feedback!
