3.2.2 Edit a note

Take a look on the Edit button available in the toolbar.

You can edit the file locally (with a text editor program) or online (through the interface).

If you prefer locally, just go to your documents folder (by default : the docs folder of your website root folder), go to the folder where the note is stored and open the file with a text editor program.

You can use a special editor with MarkDown langage functionnalities or a very basic editor like, for instance,

• Atom (cross-platform Windows, Mac, Linux)
• Notepad (Windows) or Notepad++ (Windows),
• TextEdit (Mac),
• gedit (Linux),
• Nano (Linux),
• Vi (Linux),
• ...

Or you can choose dedicated editor like,

• MarkdownPad).
• Typora,
• ...
