computercraft how to turn computer on and off with a button

hi i have a program.lua written on a turtle i want to execute but its placed in the back, and i want to do something like pressing a button and having redstone (or another way to do it in the mod) where i can tun it on and off with a button or something. instead of running around to the back and running the program manually on each turtle. thank you!

i have it set to startup.lua now so i think if i can turn the computer on and off with a lever or something would be great

Computers (and consequently, turtles) are able to be peripherals. If you place a full block modem (craft a wired modem by itself in a crafting table) beside a computer, another computer on the same network can do something like so:

local computers = { peripheral.find "computer" }

for _, computer in ipairs(computers) do
  computer.turnOn() -- or .shutdown() or .reboot()
end

If the turtles are moving, the moden may "turn off" when the turtle moves away (and thus no longer register the turtle is there when it moves back into range). To combat this, you can place any other peripheral (like a chest) somewhere else on the modem, and it will stay active even after the turtle moves away, registering the turtle as a peripheral when it moves back.
