Feature: session management

There are a handful of issues and PRs being created regarding renaming and deleting sessions/managing sessions overall, but I haven't seen any discussions being created as required by the Contribution Guide.

Some proposed implementations are opinionated in one way or another, so I figured I would open a channel to discuss what an acceptable session management system would look like.

I added barebones utility to rename and delete sessions (ctrl+r and ctrl+x in the session dialog), and was hoping we could work together to define a feasible UX

I feel these two Issues should be mentioned here:

• Automatic session naming #1189
• Stale LSP and no command to restart them in a running session. #1361

Appreciate you following the proper channels on this one @posteego. Let's move the conversation to #492 as this is an issue we plan to get it.

@LarsArtmann, I'd mention those two issues there as well.
