Push Mirrors Status

I would like to use soft-serve locally, but I also want to mirror to GitHub for visibility.
Forgejo has it but I was hoping for something simpler, so wanted soft-serve.

I don't think there has been any progress on this, has there?
Any guidance on how I can help move this along?

Alternatively, any suggestions on how to add a hook that adds a pushurl for a GitHub repo of the same user/repo URL to the origin remote if there isn't already?
