Development workflow

Checkout git repository:

$ git clone git@github.com:cloos/python_example_pkg_cloos.git

Create virtualenv:

$ make venv

Activate virtualenv:

$ source venv/bin/activate

Install/Upgrade packaging tools:

$ make install

Install package in 'development mode':

$ make develop

Run tests:

$ make test

Create Git tag:

$ git tag -m "release 0.0.1" 0.0.1
$ git push --tags

Upload to https://test.pypi.org/:

$ make upload_test

Upload to https://pypi.org/:

$ make upload

Usage

$ pip install example-pkg-cloos

Cli:

example-pkg-cloos --help

Library:

from example_pkg_cloos.utils import print_bar, print_foo

print_bar()
