I've pushed a patch that changes the front page to recommend a standards mode doctype for all browsers, not just IE. It's not just the resize demo that assumes standards mode, there are other parts of CodeMirror that mess up in the various quirks modes. |

Does not work in Chrome without doctype set. This is what made it work for me, though there may be a more precise reason ?
