getting a error white screen after upgrading to v4.98.0

After upgrading to latest v4.98.0 version, I'm getting a weird white error screen.

Same setup works in previous versions.

Steps to Reproduce

1. upgrade to v4.98.0
2. start code server.
3. you will then get weird error white screen.

Expected

it should load browser based code server IDE.

Actual

weird error white screen.

found what the issue is.
with new version the content encoding is now "br", preivously it was "gzip", my reverse proxy app didn't like the new br.
as soon as I update the reverse proxy app to accept br encoding, it works.
