v1.8.3

What's new

  • Lighter on your computer: PSA does less work while it runs. On a YouTube page it now uses about 40% less processor time while minimized to the pill, and about 15% less with the full panel open. A background tab where nothing is playing, such as a paused video left open, no longer uses any at all until you come back to it or something plays.

Updating

Firefox: the extension updates itself.

Bookmarklet: bookmarklets don't update themselves. Open the install page, drag the PSA button to your bookmarks bar, and delete the old bookmark. The new panel shows "PSA 1.8.3".
