Created an ical_value property for the vPeriod component. @ZairKSM (Issue Properly decode every value type (polymorphy, beginner) #876)
Created a ical_value() property for the vWeekday component, mirroring the existing pattern on vBoolean. @mvanhorn (Issue Add vWeekday.ical_value for the Component.decoded() polymorphy #1360)

Bug fixes

Strictly validate BINARY property values in vBinary.from_ical() and reject malformed Base64 input instead of silently accepting invalid characters. @uwezkhan (Issue Strictly validate Base64 binary values #1349)

Documentation
