Hi @pdusa, From your description, it sounds like the App Store successfully processed the payment, but GitHub did not activate Copilot Pro because new or returning subscriptions are currently paused. A few suggestions based on similar situations:
Since the payment was handled by Apple, you may also be able to request a refund directly through Apple if the subscription could not be activated. The community cannot access billing records, but hopefully someone who experienced the same App Store scenario can share how it was resolved. For privacy, avoid posting receipts, email addresses, or other personal information publicly. |

the payment, but GitHub did not activate Copilot Pro because new or

A few suggestions based on similar situations:
-
Check *Settings → Billing and plans* on GitHub to confirm whether
Copilot Pro appears there.
-
Verify the status of the subscription in *iOS Settings → Apple ID →
Subscriptions*.
-
Give it some time (a few hours) in case there is a delay between
Apple's payment processing and GitHub's entitlement sync.
-
If Copilot Pro still does not appear, contact GitHub Support and
include:
- Your GitHub username
- The date of the App Store purchase
- A copy of the App Store receipt or screenshots (without exposing
sensitive information)
Since the payment was handled by Apple, you may also be able to request a
refund directly through Apple if the subscription could not be activated.
