Feasibility to pass configurations for mux-player-react

While playing mux hosted hls stream, is there a way to pass additional configuration to be used with the mux player? like preferPlayback='mse' used with @mux/mux-player-react

Kind of a deal breaker since most controls including quality options are missing when rendered using native hls playback on apple devices.
Ofcourse could use @mux/mux-player-react itself directly, but trying to stick with the same package that can play well with existing service providers during migration.
