Custom Container Name

Hello everyone,
this has been a returning topic both on Github as well as Discord (e.g. #2545) however, I cannot seem to get the env to work. I have added "COOLIFY_CONTAINER_NAME" before deployment to my service stack as well as in the docker-compose but it is still deployed with a random UUID? Does anyone know how to fix it? If I do not add the env I can see the "COOLIFY_CONTAINER_NAME" env in Portainer with the random uuid but as soon as I manually add it it disappears.

This is not a bug, the COOLIFY_CONTAINER_NAME variable is read only. You are not supossed to overwrite the container name with it.

Hey @Cinzya thanks for the reply. I see, so how can we change the name of the service stacks/customize the UUID? in the beginning coolify used 5-6 character IDs which was fine but now they are 25 characters and running a lot of stacks and containers it’s just very messy and difficult to find what I need.
