This token is fUSDC, it is USDC that has been wrapped inside of the Flux Lending protocol, linked here, and is being lent out to users who have posted OUSG (Tokenized short term government bonds) as collateral. (Currently earning ~4%APY in kind)

How do we know it's not a scam?

This token is basically a fork of compound cUSDC token you can check the source code of fUSDC on chain here

The on chain liquidity for this token is currently ~$711k (Within the lending pool)
