milestones for roadmap items and releases

would it make sense to use milestones to group roadmap item issues with issues and prs related to them? and maybe for larger releases too like 1.0? the reason i thought of this is that i was interested in roadmap items but the issues for them are opened/closed without any interactions so i have a hard time finding what features/docs changed without doing a extra querying. if a milestone for the roadmap item was made and attached to the roadmap issue then one could follow the breadcrumb trail from overall roadmap to issue to milestone and then see all issue/pr that went into the roadmap item like an epic.
