Do you think it would be possible to have federated instances of Crossview? Or a hub and spoke model of Crossview? This would make it possible to have all the data available in one instance where you then are able to select by cluster.

Hi @matthewgreenwaldagility. This is a cool topic to discuss. I got this topic from an organization that is using Crossplane. They have kinda the same idea. But I want to be sure that you mean the same thing. Are you talking about a multicluster version of CrossView that has access to several clusters on a single instance?

@MoeidHeidari Correct. Or a so called "hub and spoke" model where you run many instances of Crossview across clusters "spokes", but there is a central "hub" crossview which pulls from them. I don't know which architecture would be better.

I guess the same architecture as we have for multi-clustering with contexts will be fine. But the issue is that the instance in a cluster needs to be somehow able to talk to other clusters. because the backend is calling Kubernetes APIs. So a token through providing service accounts, maybe. But then the issue is that calling APIs in a k8s cluster with a token could be disabled by the cluster admin, which brings some limitations. Maybe it is better to think about it and provide an architectural diagram or something so we know what the context is and we stay on the same side of the discussion.
