This reverts commit f9b6f0d.
Unfortunately, the 1.4.0 version has a change that might break the existing installations. It's related to the region support in aws s3 urls. So if s3 urls doesn't have a region in it, you can hit an error.

We'll include this update in the upcoming minor release of the cube (1.4) where such breaking changes are expected.
