• MS SQL Server
  Every other app can be connected to our MS SQL Server only with FQDN\Instancename and Authentication Method Windows, but this Plugin do not work. I get different error messages like "Connection refused, Connection Timeout, Login Method is to old"

Our MS SQL have not a fixed Port, because it configured by a partner and not by us.

  I copy the working driver from SquirrelSQL and take over the information from this app and even database-client didn't work

How can I connect to our databases with this Plugin, when nothing here works, but every other app without special config?

Hi, for SQL Server:

The extension currently uses the old NTLM for Windows Authentication, which requires you to fill in your windows credentials. I will try to support the new method in the future.

For DB2 for i, since it does not provide a development database, I cannot test it. You can try to download the driver provided by the extension to connect. If you cannot connect, I suggest you use other tools.

Thanks for the quick reply, but nothing works.

I have tried to save my credentials in the configuration and even tested the three types of communication “HOST / SERVER / INSTANCE”. Unfortunately in vain.

It would be good if you had some examples in your wiki how it should work.

Hi, Windows credentials are supported in version 8.2.1, but you still need to open port 1433 on the server you are using, and you need to install Java.
