Historical football player data is gone?

Hey not sure if anyone has noticed this, but for past seasons, ESPN is missing stat data for players. The team totals and player projections are there, but not the player stats and actual point totals. I first noticed that the data the API was pulling was all 0's, but then I checked and even on ESPN itself this is a problem. Does anyone know (probably not) if they're migrating their data or something? Does this happen every offseason? I really hope they're not making some breaking change like they did after the 2018 season.
