Unrecognized character and ui-widget

FYI i have installed just 2 font packs, ttf-liberation dan adwaita-font.
And for unrecognized ui-widget (it should be star for pin item right), it happened in my Debian system.

I think you're talking about the icon, not the font. The icons used in the app (the star for pinned items) are system icons. Maybe your icon pack doesn't have it?
