Generally slower content loading compared to Stash in the browser?

I have the feeling that loading up bigger files in the app, especially noticeable with images, generally is way slower compared to Stash in the browser. Might there be something to it or is it caused by slow TV hardware?

I didn't want to open an issue about it, since there are so many factors which could cause this behavior on my end.
